Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will evaluate patient outcomes, consult with specialists and ancillary departments, and adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ER. This role requires meeting the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care, while effectively communicating with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as necessary.
• Communicate changes in patient's status to ED physicians.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS certifications preferred.
