Registered Nurse - Outpatient/Inpatient

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM); Night shift: 5x8 Hours (09:00 PM - 09:00 AM). Initial week will include inpatient AM shifts and outpatient PM shifts; for the subsequent three weeks, the schedule will primarily consist of outpatient hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Schedule discussions can be held with the manager during the interview.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with both outpatient and inpatient experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, be familiar with the patient care process, and be able to provide support across different settings. This position will require adaptability and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Valid State License by the time of start.
• BSN required.
• Current NRP certification through AAP for ER RNs.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably Meditech.
