Pediatrics/NICU CNA/PCT - Rotating Day/Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour shifts per week (day: 07:00 - 19:30; night: 19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled CNA/PCT to provide exceptional care to patients in the Pediatrics/NICU units. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering basic activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring patients, and assisting with specialized care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic ADLs including transfers, bathing, and grooming.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition.
• Care for patients with trachs, G-tubes/NG tubes, and those with brain injuries or spinal cord injuries.
• Manage feeding for patients with varied nutritional needs.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during care processes.
• Support nursing staff in all aspects of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of CNA/PCT experience, preferably in a pediatric or acute care setting.
• Active Maryland state CNA license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with neonates and pediatric patients is highly preferred.
