Operating Room Circulator (General OR)

Mid 5x8-Hour Shift (14:30 - 23:00)

Job Description

The Operating Room Circulator is responsible for ensuring a smooth workflow in the operating room, facilitating surgeries, and supporting the surgical team. This position requires experience in various surgical procedures and a willingness to be on call every four weeks, including nights and weekends. Travel experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist and circulate in various surgical specialties including General, ENT, Gynecology, Neuro, Ortho, Spine, Plastics, Robotics, Urology, and Vascular.
• Ensure all pre-operative care measures are met and maintain safe and sterile environments during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate communication and workflow in the operating room.
• Administer patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in operating room circulation.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Travel experience is required.
