Schedule

4 days x 10 hours; 8:15 AM - 6:45 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM on Thursday. Must be available for on-call shifts after hours, approximately 7 days a month.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. The position requires capability in operating state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras, computer systems, and other technical devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with patients and healthcare staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• At least five years of nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• Nuclear Medicine certification from either NMTCB or ARRT within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Pending Nuclear Medicine license from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging allowed.
