Surgical Technologist - Ortho/OR Robotic

Schedule

This position offers a 10-hour workday schedule, working four days a week, with variable start times between 6 AM and 8 AM. The role includes on-call responsibilities once a week and every fourth weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist with expertise in orthopedic robotic procedures to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care in the operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are ready and functioning properly.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team to promote a safe operating environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist with patient positioning and care pre- and post-operation.
• Participate in maintaining operating room cleanliness and preparing for future procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Surgical Technologist certification.
• Experience in orthopedic or robotic surgery preferred.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification.
• Proof of mandatory vaccinations and health screenings as required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
