Orthopedic Operating Room Robotic Surgical Technologist

Schedule

This position is for four 10-hour days with variable start times between 6 AM and 8 AM. There is an on-call requirement of one day a week and every fourth weekend.

Job Description

The Orthopedic Operating Room Robotic Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting in robotic surgeries in the orthopedic department. This role requires competencies in maintaining a sterile environment, handling instruments, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with robotic surgical procedures in the orthopedic operating room.
• Maintain sterile conditions and handle surgical instruments safely.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical staff.
• Support patient care by adhering to established protocols and practices.
• Participate in maintaining equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Current surgical technologist certification preferred.
• Experience in robotic surgery is highly desired.
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and instruments.
