Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Unit

Schedule

Nightshift, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health Unit will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with mental health conditions. This role requires a dynamic approach to patient assessment and care, ensuring safety and therapeutic relationships in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
• Additional required vaccinations: COVID-19, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB Test, Varicella, and Tdap.
• Driver's License or State ID.
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Skills Checklist.
• Criminal Background Check clearance.
