Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

This position offers an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday. Shift start times can be as early as 7 AM and can end as late as 5:30 PM.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat hospitalized patients to support them in regaining the physical and cognitive skills necessary for daily living and a safe discharge from the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide interventions that assist patients in achieving daily living skills.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care Occupational Therapy is required.
• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Michigan.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
