Certified Sterile Processing Technician

Day shift, 5x8 hours (09:00 - 17:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including Trauma Level I and II settings. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with advanced sterile processing equipment and adhere to strict safety and operational protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain steam sterilizers, washers, and related sterile processing equipment.
• Ensure proper labeling and selection of wrapping materials for sterilization.
• Utilize aseptic techniques and biological indicators for sterilization testing and monitoring.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control policies.
• Assist in the processing and sterilization of various surgical instruments across specialties, including General, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Experience in Trauma Level I and II environments is required.
• Current certifications: BLS, CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA.
• Active MD or Compact License at the time of submission.
• CPI certification is required.
