Registered Nurse - ICU (Nights)

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled. The typical scheduled hours are from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients with severe health conditions. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient vitals and report significant changes.
• Administer intravenous therapies and titrate medications as needed.
• Support patients with various medical conditions, including respiratory failure and detox.
• Occasional care of pediatric patients and medications overflow.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ICU nursing experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• RNs are required to titrate medications including propofol, cardizem, insulin, and others.
