Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool

Schedule

This position offers evening shifts, working 12-hour rotations from 3 PM to 3 AM or 3 AM to 3 PM, with a commitment to 36 hours per week. One weekend shift per week is required, with the option of two weekend shifts every other weekend. At least one holiday must be worked during the contract period.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Float Pool will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various Med Surg Tele units and the South East Tower. Flexibility to float between units as per facility needs is essential.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing within a hospital setting.
• Active New York State RN license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
