Med Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse - Evenings

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour evening shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM, with a rotation that includes weekend shifts. Candidates are required to work at least one holiday during the contract.

Job Description

The Med Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse will provide care across various Med Surg Tele units. Flexibility is essential as the role involves floating between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Telemetry Units
• Adapt to different unit environments and patient needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in EPIC
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in acute Med Surg/Telemetry in a hospital setting
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
