Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shift: 7 PM to 7 AM. Options available for 36 and 48 hours per week, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must be available to work at least 1 holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Tele team in a complex care unit with 37 beds. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and flexibility to meet the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a med/surg/tele setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to different units as needed and be willing to work in a charge role if required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license is required.
• AHA BLS certification is mandatory.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
