Schedule

Day Shift, Monday-Friday (4x10 Hours: 07:00 - 17:30) with weekend requirement every six weeks for approximately two hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Infusion Center team. This position involves providing care for both oncology and non-oncology patients, including chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy infusion therapies. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex patient situations in an outpatient setting, focusing on high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy infusions per established protocols.
• Provide patient and family education and support regarding treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and medications.
• Manage patients with various oncological diagnoses, coordinating care as needed.
• Engage in advanced symptom management and psychosocial care.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and infection control guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC) is mandatory.
• Epic electronic health record experience required.
