Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Day 4x12-Hour schedule from 06:30 to 19:00.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our team in the ICU. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in critical care nursing and experience in a similar setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and performing a variety of advanced nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients with severe health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care.
• Float to Medical Surgery, Stepdown, PCU, ER, and CVICU as needed, with a maximum of 4 patients while floating.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• Active NM/Compact RN License (pending licenses accepted).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrated experience with a patient ratio of 1:2.
• Skills in arterial line management, ventilator management, and care of critically ill patients are required.
