Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Day shift: 3x12-Hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering safe nursing care while floating among five designated hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Provide support and crisis intervention to patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Implement behavior management techniques as appropriate.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on behavioral health preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey or a Compact license.
• Current BLS certification that does not expire within 30 days of the assignment start date.
• Epic charting system experience is a plus.
