Registered Nurse (RN) - STEMI/Stroke Coverage

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position includes two shift options:

• 4 - 10 hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• 5 - 8 hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Additionally, there are 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI/Stroke coverage.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, particularly focusing on STEMI/Stroke patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.
• Verification of license and certifications will be conducted.
• Proof of immunizations and health screenings, including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Influenza, Hepatitis B, TB test, and Varicella.
• Driver's License or State ID for identification purposes.
