Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Lab provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, addressing both psychosocial and physical aspects of care in the surgical environment. This role entails continuous communication with the physician regarding patient conditions, as well as monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The nurse will assist in maintaining equipment, managing supplies, and participating in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Laboratory.
• Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient conditions.
• Monitor and record patients' conditions during procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and supply management.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificates upon hire and maintained current required.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.
