Registered Nurse - Med-Surg

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Med-Surg nursing practices, have experience managing a variety of patient conditions, and be committed to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med-Surg unit
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all patient interactions and adhere to best practices in record-keeping

Schedule

This position requires a rotating schedule, including weekends, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift hours are 19:00 to 07:00.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a Med-Surg setting
• Current BLS certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Ability to float to different units as needed
