Registered Nurse - Night Shift Contract

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Must be flexible with shift lengths and days, with no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Job Description

This position requires an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care in a medical unit. Candidates must possess a valid Hawaii license by the start of the assignment. A proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exception will be required prior to the contract start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services in the medical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 during days and evenings, 1:8 during nights.
• Utilize medical unit equipment such as Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• May be required to float to Laulima Unit or Cardiovascular Unit as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Valid Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment.
