Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with varying degrees of urgency and medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 in a 30-bed unit.
• Provide emergency and critical care to patients.
• Facilitate effective communication among the medical team and families.
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse licensure in Indiana.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department.
