Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, attending to high-risk deliveries, managing OB-GYN procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the birthing process.

Responsibilities

• Attend all deliveries and high-risk deliveries.
• Perform circulatory functions, scrub roles, and assist in OB-GYN surgeries.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief treatments.
• Monitor patient status during labor and delivery.
• Provide post-operative care and support to new mothers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Epic experience is required.
• Current certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred).
• Active compact license must be in hand at submission.
