Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

This position is a Night 3x12-Hour shift from 19:00 to 07:30. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This role requires high-risk obstetrical nursing skills and the ability to function in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. As a vital member of our team, you will provide essential care to midwifery clients, private OB patients, and those in substance recovery.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and provide care during high-risk deliveries.
• Function in the role of Baby Nurse until transfer to postpartum care.
• Administer essential newborn care, including administering eye drops and vitamin K injections.
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring and documentation through the EPIC charting system.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including emergency procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or high-risk nursing.
• Required certifications include BLS and NRP; ACLS and AWHONN certifications preferred.
• Valid compact RN license required upon submission.
• Current supervisory references must be provided.
