3x12-Hour Night Shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) with holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care for patients in need of critical care services. The role involves floating to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, to meet the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and perform related procedures according to protocols.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and provide care in emergency situations.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy as necessary.
• Perform intubation assistance and extubation procedures.
• Manage tracheostomy care and mechanical ventilation weaning.
• Conduct arterial blood gas interpretations and ensure proper documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience as an RRT.
• SC RCP licensure must be active prior to start date.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) are required.
• Previous experience with Epic charting system is essential.
