Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position with a duration of 16 weeks or longer.

Schedule

Shifts are scheduled for nights, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week are available, with a requirement of 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must also work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the Labor & Delivery unit, which has 10 beds. The nurse may also be required to float to the mother/baby unit and Newborn nursery as needed.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Two years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• Current certifications in AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM fetal monitoring.

Floating Requirements

The nurse may float to the mother/baby and Newborn nursery units as needed.
