Labor & Delivery Nurse - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse to join a rural West Texas hospital. The facility conducts approximately 30-40 deliveries per month, and the ideal candidate will be well-versed in caring for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients. OB circulator experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients.
• Assist with deliveries and OB circulating duties.
• Monitor fetal health and implement appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring experience.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery required; postpartum care only experience is not acceptable.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
