Full-Time: 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor and delivery, including the ability to care for and assess both the mother and newborn. Your expertise will be paramount in handling potential OB emergencies and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care for mothers and newborns.
• Assess maternal and neonatal health and manage complications effectively.
• Perform C-sections, circumcisions, and other procedures as required.
• Monitor fetal well-being and manage inductions using Pitocin, cervidil, etc.
• Participate in daily rounding on all patients to enhance their experience.
• Document care using Meditech and CPN systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training required.
• Proven experience in labor and delivery and newborn care.
• Ability to handle OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.
