Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 4x12 hour schedule (18:30 - 07:00). 36 or 48 hour options available. Floating to like units may be required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team for night shifts. The RN will provide care to adult and geriatric patients on a 32-bed unit, working with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. The role includes rapid response team activation as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Participate in rapid response team interventions
• Perform wound care and patient assessments
• Manage various medical devices and procedures, including insulin administration and feeding tube management

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• BLS certification (CPI preferred)
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers are accepted
