Day shift with 12-hour shifts, following a 3-day work week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to Med/Surg patients in a 30-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6:1. This position does not involve educational responsibilities as it is a dedicated education unit. The primary focus will be patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Document patient progress and updates accurately.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide timely interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital.
• Active BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Positive attitude and commitment to timely performance are essential.
