Registered Nurse - Acute Neuro Unit

Schedule

Shift: 12-hour Nights (12x3), with a variability of 7 AM - 7:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Neuro Unit. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the neuro unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Acute Neuro setting.
• Required: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Certification.
• Preferred: AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
