Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery role in an acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring. This position involves floating to postpartum if needed and performing couplet care, along with attending C-sections and vaginal deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in antepartum rooms, labor, and high-risk areas.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate during C-sections.
• Float to postpartum units as necessary.
• Conduct postpartum couplet care for newborn and maternal health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current RN licensure in California.
• Certifications required: AWHONN Advanced, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM.
• First-timers not accepted; travel experience required.
• No open license hits will be approved.
