Registered Nurse - NICU Travel Position

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel position in the NICU. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Level III or IV NICU, caring for patients born at 23-24 weeks gestation. This position requires proficiency in basic NICU procedures and equipment, with responsibilities primarily focused on the care of neonates and infants.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood and blood products.
• Manage central lines and perform PICC line placements.
• Provide care for infants using CPAP/BiPap, high-frequency vents, and oscillators.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and assist with neonatal surgeries.
• Utilize therapeutic hypothermia techniques with cooling/warming blankets.
• Conduct neonatal dosage calculations and manage feeding tubes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary support and rapid response teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Level III or IV NICU.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
