Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in telemetry nursing. The nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient health status using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and implement prescribed treatments.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate patient care among interdisciplinary team members.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Current and valid Ohio RN license or compact state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be active at the time of submission.
• One professional reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty.
