Registered Nurse - CVOR

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days - 8-hour shift from 0600 to 1430, with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Job Description

This position requires floating to clinically appropriate units as needed, within the clinician's scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies. The role is focused in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with additional responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the CVOR.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and best practice standards.
• Collaboration with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and assess patients' health conditions and respond to urgent care needs.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, NIHSS may be required based on assigned units.
