Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care

This position offers a night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in an academic hospital setting. The candidate must possess a valid RN license and have a proven track record in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changing patient needs.
• Document patient assessments and treatments accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Epic experience is required.
• 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score.
• 2 years of experience may be considered without testing.
• Competency testing is required within 24 hours of submission.
• Local candidates are not being accepted as of January 11, 2024, based on eligibility criteria.
