Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 (12 hour) night shifts per week, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will plan and provide total patient care through the nursing process by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. The role involves directing and guiding patient teaching activities while ensuring the standards of professional nursing are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Direct ancillary personnel and ensure high standards of care are maintained.
• Provide patient education and support informed decision-making.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Experience preferred, but not required.
