Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours scheduled and a minimum of 24 hours guaranteed each week. Weekend and holiday work required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. Candidates must be willing to work in a fast-paced critical care environment and handle various patient needs. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and willing to conform to the varying demands of the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Neuro ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent ICU experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no disciplinary actions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
