ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - 13-Week Contract

This position requires a flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, working three days a week.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work within the 2nd South ICU, delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs
• Implement nursing care plans and administer medications
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient behavior
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Provide education to patients and families on health management
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Active RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
