Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Job Description

Join our dynamic cardiac cath lab team responsible for providing exceptional pre and post-procedure care as well as PACU recovery. This role involves working with patients diagnosed with vascular, electrical conduction, coronary diseases, and structural heart conditions. As a registered nurse, you will be integral in delivering direct patient care and procedural support in both acute and non-acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during pre and post-procedural phases.
• Support various procedures in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment.
• Assist in the recovery process in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any complications.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License (NY License ONLY)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Recent experience in CVICU/Cardiac Care or PACU is required
• Cath lab experience is highly desired
• Telemetry experience is required

Schedule

This position requires a 4x10.0 schedule with day/night rotations, including occasional weekends based on unit needs.
