Registered Nurse - Surgical Services (Trauma, Robotics, Vascular, Ortho)

Schedule

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) on a weekend schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide both scrub and circulate services in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in robotics, specifically in urology, and possess strong experience in vascular, neuro, ortho, and trauma services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with surgical procedures in various specialties including ortho trauma, endovascular, open vascular, urology, and general surgery.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high quality of patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Maintain trauma certifications and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Level 2 Trauma setting.
• Valid RN license or compact in PA required at time of submission.
• Current BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and Trauma Certification required.
• Experience in both scrub and circulate roles in surgical settings.
• Charge Nurse experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with pulmonary procedures (e.g., bronchs, EBUS) is a plus.
