Night Shift Registered Nurse - Surgical Department

This position is for night shift, generally scheduled for every other weekend, with flexibility for holiday requests.

Job Description

Join our team in the surgical department, which also handles some medical cases as needed based on patient bed availability. Our unit features 35 private patient rooms and is supported by two nursing stations and a shift supervisor. You will be part of a collaborative team with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6 on night shifts, alongside patient care techs available for each shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage care effectively.
• Administer medications and assist with patient activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license in good standing is required. Previous nursing experience in a surgical or medical environment is preferred.
