RN Supervisor - Full-Time Evenings

Full-Time Evenings: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 5 days a week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

The RN Supervisor will oversee the operation of nursing units under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The role involves providing clinical supervision to nursing staff, ensuring quality resident care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to address unit issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of nursing units and provide clinical supervision to staff.
• Ensure quality resident care through staff teaching and supervision.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing regarding unit problems and collaborate on solutions.
• Make administrative decisions in the absence of senior management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care.
• Experience in a supervisory or clinical lead role over multiple units (charge-only experience not acceptable).
• BLS certification through AHA or RQI system required.
