Job Description

Join our dynamic and busy Med/Surg unit, where you will provide care for patients, including those with surgical flap needs and low-acuity burn patients. Our team collaborates closely with specialty departments and focuses on delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Conduct wound care, bowel programs, and light burn care as necessary.
• Monitor telemetry and manage patient medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience working with spinal cord injury patients is highly desirable.
