Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 12HR from 7 PM to 7 AM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Must work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the West 6 Med/Tele unit, which has a capacity of 40 beds. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an acute medical-surgical and telemetry environment. Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to float to other units are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg/Tele unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with charge nurse duties as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute med-surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
