Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12 hour shifts, every other weekend.

Job Description

Join a 225-bed specialty care hospital renowned for its Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, and comprehensive medical services. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in our Cardiac and Stepdown unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cardiac patients, including monitoring telemetry and administering cardiac drips.
• Assist in pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing procedures such as VATS and open heart surgery.
• Caring for patients with conditions such as chest pain, heart failure, and stroke/TIA.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PCU or stepdown settings.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac care procedures.
