Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Med Surg team. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment. The nurse will manage a diverse patient population and ensure adherence to established protocols and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor patient status and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a current RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; neuro experience preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale and Swallow Screen certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on the first day of orientation.
