Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This position is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective patient transitions back to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document all medical records clearly, accurately, and timely according to state, federal, and clinic guidelines.
• Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within approved insurance criteria.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Create and initiate a professional development plan in conjunction with clinical management.
• Adhere to discipline-specific practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand and follow organizational performance improvement methodologies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Desire for a 6-month contract duration.
