Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Days (07:00 - 19:30) with weekend coverage every other weekend (may vary based on need). Floating is required as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist who is experienced in critical care settings. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in various areas of pediatrics, including PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care units.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients across multiple units.
• Utilize equipment and techniques appropriate to the care of pediatric patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active South Carolina RRT license.
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC charting system.
• Child-specific critical care experience in PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care settings is strongly preferred.
