Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 hours, nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with a holiday rotation. Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Job Description

As a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across various units, including critical care and potentially labor and delivery. Your vital role will involve assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and therapies to patients in critical care environments.
• Assist in emergency procedures such as intubation and extubation.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to respiratory treatments.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Valid South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required at time of start.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS are mandatory.
